Ashtanga OR Dynamic Yoga

Explore the principles of Ashtanga Yoga, a series of flowing, interconnected poses linked by your in- and exhale. This dynamic and challenging form of yoga is renowned for its ability to detoxify and strengthen. On-going practice of ashtanga yoga can result in a strong, toned and flexible body as well as a calm and alert mind. 

During the class we practice the standing postures of the Primary Series and the seated postures up to navasana, working together to connect to our breath, our core strength and our spirit. This is a fun and dynamic course, so be prepared for a new you! 

Suitable for: 
- students who have completed the ashtanga beginners course or
- students who have regularly practiced other styles of yoga for at least 2 months
- those looking for a fun and exciting challenge

Dynamic yoga classes are set to beautiful music. This fun, flowing class builds heat, strength and flexibility thereby helping the body to detoxify and tone muscles. The flowing aspect of this class can also enable the mind to become calm and still. 

If you are looking for a new, fun and exhilarating challenge, this could be the class for you. Just drop-in and give it a go.

Beginner's Ashtanga

This 6-week course allows you to explore the basic techniques and principles of Ashtanga Yoga, a series of flowing, interconnected poses linked by your in- and exhale. On-going practice of ashtanga yoga can result in a strong, toned and flexible body as well as a calm and alert mind.

Pregnancy Yoga

At Chapel on the Hill

October 7th, 14th and 21st

Saturday: 9.15am

 

Classes are booked on a drop-in basis and are held at the Chapel on the Hill OR the Forest Hill Space both in SE23. 

Pregnancy Yoga will focus on relaxation, birthing positions, breathing techniques, connecting with your unborn baby and building your strength and confidence for the magical journey of birth and motherhood. Classes are also a great opportunity to meet other local mums-to-be!

- women who are between 14 and 40 weeks pregnant

- those who want to strengthen their pelvic floor
