Kimberly has always been interested in moving art forms and after discovering yoga realised she had found something pretty special! Her initial excitement and curiosity of yoga quickly developed into her passion. Kimberly traveled to India in December 2008 to honour yoga's birthplace and further deepen her understanding of this inspiring practice.
Kimberly is a qualified British Wheel of Yoga and Yoga Alliance teacher, having trained under the close guidance of Simon Low at the Yoga Academy. She is also a qualified pregnancy and post natal yoga teacher, having studied with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli, founder of Sitaram Yoga. Furthermore, she graduated from the College of Naturopathic Medicine in September, 2016 and also practices as a nutritional therapist. Her area of interest lies in nutrition and cancer and plant-based nutrition. (You can find out more about what that entails here). Through her studies, she has developed a teaching style her own, marked by her dedication and commitment to making yoga fun and accessible to students of all ages, abilities, races and religions. Kimberly is dedicated to teaching from the heart, allowing her students to feel safe, secure and relaxed.
Kimberly is thrilled to share her love for yoga with the local community and looks forward to welcoming former and new students to SE23's yoga school - Oaktree Yoga. So, if you are looking for a challenge then come join Kimberly and have fun on the yoga mat.
